Monitoring

Current Situation
We have noticed a surge in reports from our customers experiencing challenges with shared mailboxes, resulting in an error saying Login to delegate account failed. We want to assure you that we have already engaged with Microsoft regarding this matter, and they have already taken steps to resolve this.

Immediate Workaround
As an interim solution, please consider either:

  1. Utilizing https://app.zivver.com for your email communication needs.
  2. Temporarily disabling the Zivver add-in for affected shared mailboxes until the issue is resolved.

Please note: It is still possible to send regular emails from the shared mailboxes, by clicking the “Send as unsecure mail” button whenever a pop-up shows up.

Next Steps from Microsoft
We have received confirmation from Microsoft that they have implemented a fix, which will be rolled out to all customers by tomorrow at the latest. We will conduct tests to ensure the issue is fully resolved once this update is released. You can follow the steps on https://zivver.info.

Contact and Support
Should you encounter any issues following Microsoft’s update tomorrow, we recommend that you log out of your Microsoft account and log back in. For persistent problems or concerns, please email us at support@zivver.com.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and appreciate your continued patience as we work towards a permanent resolution.

We thank you for your patience and wish you a good weekend.

Problem Identified

Microsoft have acknowledged the issue as a bug in the OWA platform and are working with priority to fix the issue. They expect a fix to be deployed within the next days. As soon as we hear more about this, we’ll publish that information here.
Again, if you or your users are affected, you can still send regular emails and use https://app.zivver.com for sending secure messages. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Problem Identified

We have determined that the the issue is likely caused by a change in Microsoft’s API, that results in shared mailbox info sometimes not being passed to the Zivver add-in. We have raised this issue with Microsoft and they have acknowledged that they’re investigating and testing on their end as well. We will report back as soon as we have more news.

If you or your users are affected, you can still send regular emails and use https://app.zivver.com for sending and reading secure messages from affected mailboxes. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Investigating

Zivver is currently investigating a potential issue with OWA plugin v4 and v5, in which for some delegated mailboxes, logging in to Zivver fails. We are investigating which mailboxes could potentially be affected and what the cause of this issue is. Further updates will be posted here on zivver.info.
Please reach out to support@zivver.com if your organisation experiences any issues related to OWA and delegated mailboxes so we can monitor the impact and contact you per mail with updates.

Regular email processes are not affected by this issue. In order to read/send Zivver messages for delegate accounts, users can go to https://app.zivver.com/, login and switch to the delegated account.
